Dec 22. Aaron set up the Christmas tree while Gmom and I went to Alexandria to pick up Jo Ann at the airport.
Dec 22. Jo Ann watches Amy Jo and Aaron set up the drum/guitar set that Santa Claus gave Kim and Amy Jo for Christmas. (I think they got it for Christmas.)
Dec 22. Aaron put the lights around the room also. Gmom goes about her work, getting ready for Christmas. I guess Jo Ann is tired watching the band members set up.
Dec 22. Lights around the back door too.
Dec 22. Gmom takes time for breakfast and fusses because I took her picture.
Dec 22. Jo Ann prepares a sandwich for herself.

Dec 23. Ah, Louise sighs, good coffee in the morning.
Dec 23. Note Cameron's haircut. That's part of his initiation onto the varsity soccer team at his Magnet High School. Two freshmen made the team, Cameron and another boy. But Cameron is a starter on the team. We're proud of his achievement.
Dec 23. Jo Ann, PaPa, and Cameron. Here one can see Cameron's haircut better.

Dec 23. She didn't stop.
Dec 23. The coffee has awakened Louise.
Dec 23. A jam session, I suppose one calls it. Daniel sings, Amy Jo plays the guitar, and Cameron beats the drums. Aaron records this action and makes a few comments. (One minute, 12 seconds)
Dec 23. Cameron on the drums.
Dec 23. Amy Jo on the guitar.
Dec 23. Daniel the singer.
Dec 23. Can we get through Christmas without board games? Derek waits for Jo Ann and Louise to figure out a move.

Dec 23. I try to stay out of the way, but Aaron got me working on pictures.
Dec 23. Howdy.
Dec 23. In my natural habitat.
Dec 23. The game continues.
Dec 23. Jo Ann wonders if Derek is ever going to play.
Dec 23. Kimberly and Louise are in the game too.
Dec 23. Take our picture.
Dec 23. I believe the drum-thing was the hit of the Christmas games; also the loudest.
Dec 23. Aaron, the new singer, accompanied by Amy Jo and Daniel. Daniel was by far the best drummer, but he has experience as a drummer in the Jena High School band. (One minute, 20 seconds)

Dec 23. Also a wreath near the door.
Dec 23. Gmom put out Santa in his chair too: the Santa from Louise, and the chair from Jo Ann, some years ago.
