Not posed, really. He often slept just like this. I attribute it to me sleeping with him in the kitchen as a pup. I'd just lay flat out on the floor to keep him quiet. He must of learned something from it.

This is a Royal Basset Hound. Extremely rare breed. Often mistaken as normal bassets, they are actually something total different.

As was routine every night, Minuteman would battle unseen demons. He would always win.
He is saying, Daddy put that camera up and make my box. The box was a nightly ritual. Basically an empty box filled with treats and taped shut for basset to rip open.

How or why he would sleep under a pillow was a mystery. That he would find a comfortable spot was not.

Minuteman had quite an array of tricks all taught by Amy. In fact, he would really only do them for Amy. However, he would do "paw" for anyone with treat.
